Depression is more than “sadness” and “feeling blue” and it can sometimes feel like you can not go on. This workshop will explore how you can get through the worst days and find your way to better times. Managing depression We know that difficulties like depression affect at least one in four of the population, and that these difficulties can have a really serious impact on your work, your relationships and your life. This student-only workshop run by experienced practitioners from the Wellbeing Service looks at the problem of depression, and what steps we can all take to manage these feelings as they arise, and how we can look after ourselves through the bad times. Like all our workshops, this is a safe space where there is no obligation to talk or participate, but a chance to learn strategies and new ideas, to practice useful exercises and share experiences with other people. A lot of people find that by sharing their experiences at the workshops they get more out of it, however there is no obligation to participate in this way and the practitioner will check this out with you at the beginning of the workshop.
