Meet at the Octagon, Frenchay Campus and walk 5 minutes to the woodland together
Join in with UWE's student-led conservation project at a local green space close to campus. We meet at Frenchay campus and walk down together and get involved in all sorts of coppices, pond-clearing and all things green. This is a great opportunity to get out into the great outdoors for some fresh air and lovely local green spaces which you can make a real impact in helping in just one day.
This session is going to be at Sims Hill Community Woodland and will involve getting stuck into conservation work which may include taking down fencing, coppicing, creating animal habitats or clearing brambles and pathways (more information to be announced, closer to the time). Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
All students welcome, please just sign up to attend via the online form.
This event is a FREE event.
Don't forget as part of Feel Good February you can collect a stamp for attending this event. Just turn up and a member of staff will stamp your loyalty card for you.
