Following the Government’s recent decision to scrap Covid passports, UWE Bristol and The Students’ Union continue to navigate through safety measures and requirements for students and staff returning to campus.
We are excited to be able to host events again but we also know that the return to crowded places can be a source of anxiety.
We want our student community and staff to feel supported, confident and safe when running and attending events. We also want to be able to deliver a full programme of events and services throughout the academic year to enhance the student experience. This is why, in line with university policy, we are retaining some Covid-19 measures and will be asking attendees to either:

This will apply to large-scale events (over 300 people), however, those attending smaller events will be subject to spot checks, so please be prepared.
We encourage you also to test again following the event.
Students who are exempt from vaccination and testing and those who have additional support needs should identify themselves to the event organiser either in advance via thestudentsunion@uwe.ac.uk or on entry.
