Sustainability 101 is a video series showing easy, accessible way to live more sustainably. It also includes short information videos about a variety of sustainability issues. We want the content of these video to be student-led! If you'd like to make your own video or just suggest an idea for content you can complete this short form. The Community Garden provides a regular opportunity for both experienced and new gardeners to get involved in their green campus and grow their own fruit and vegetables for free. We are running volunteer session so you can join us, meet other students and help maintain the garden. Find out more information here.
Did you know UWE's Frenchay campus is a Hedgehog Friendly Campus? The university has been recognised by the British Hedgehog Preservation society for its efforts to provide a sanctuary for wild hedgehogs on its Frenchay campus.To get involved and support hedgehog, we are looking for students to be Hedgehog Friendly Ambassadors. You don't need any prior experience to become an ambassador. All you need is a passion for helping the Nation's favourite mammal! Find out more here.
Greenspace is a programme for groups of students to work in a local conservation area. Activities normally include conservation and maintainence tasks. This programme is temporarly on hold due to Covid-19, however we are looking to get sessions running for the 2020/21 academic year.
