Here is a great opportunity to talk to Professor James Longhurst – our Assistant Vice Chancellor for Environment and Sustainability.
Come with your questions, ideas or suggestions. Find out the latest on exciting and ambitious developments at UWE and our sustainability plans for 2030.
Jim's areas of expertise are very wide ranging from Carbon Management and Air Quality to Education for Sustainable Development. Amongst many roles, he is chair of the Environmental Association of Universities and Colleges (EAUC) and sits on the Climate Commission for UK Higher and Further Education Leaders, and more locally on the panel of Bristol Advisory Committee on Climate Change. He is keen to not only answer questions but to hear your views and how you might like to be involved in our work at UWE.
A message from Jim to our students 'Join the greatest global climate event – it's free to all UWE students as part of our membership'.
