TRIGGER WARNING - Discusses Mental Health and potentially triggering topics
WHEN:
Wednesday 19th November, 19.00-20.30. Doors open at 18.30.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
How do we create hope around the topic of student suicide?
By sharing stories that speak the truth and starting real conversations. Join us for the premiere and a panel discussion of award-winning film Contact Hours, to do just that.
Contact Hours is a captivating 25-minute film about the student mental health crisis. It was directed by BFI-selected Harry Richards and written by OFFIE-nominated writer Rufus Love, and awarded Best British Short Film earlier this year.
This event is about coming together: to listen, reflect, and build hope. We will be joined by the filmmakers, mental health advocates and other Bristol-based organisations, working to tackle the youth mental health crisis.
Whether you’re a student, educator, mental health professional or just someone who cares, your voice matters. This event is free and open to all.
This venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
