Fitting in the recommended 150 minutes of exercise each week can sometimes be difficult. Walking provides the psychological and physical benefits of other forms of exercise, and does not require any specialist equipment or clothing. It can be done almost anywhere and can easily be fitted into your working day.
Walking for 20 - 30 minutes at lunch can quickly increase the number of minutes you are active, and the walk and fresh air clears your mind for a more productive afternoon.
The meeting place for these walks alternates between Sainsburys, Stoke Gifford and The Willowbrook Centre Bradley Stoke.
Don’t forget you only need one stamp on the Feel Good February loyalty card to be in with the chance of winning a prize! Simply collect your loyalty card from any UWE Info Point or SU office, get a stamp at each activity you attend and then hand your card back in by 5th March!
