Any title with Mental Health is a big one, but I believe that actually it breaks down into two areas, Emotional Health and Physiological Health. Emotional Health is something we are very much in control of and can change, in fact the only thing we can Change in Life is Ourselves in the Now! So with that in mind this talk will give an insight of how you can take control of your life by either reinstating or increasing Self Esteem when it has been lost of reduced and from that building a self confidence that will empower you to make the life decisions you want.
This session is a talk to discuss how our emotional wellbeing and self-esteem can impact on us and how to improve them. I will also explain how my programme which I have developed over the last 20 years can help you do this. There will also be a visualisation (or as I like to call them an imagination) which is part of the programme to give you a taster of what to expect and can help on a standalone basis to help you.
At the end of the session you will be able to discuss if this programme is for you and will be able to book to participate in it.
One of Dawn’s patients, a UWE worker, when asked by Dawn what she should write in this brief said "no miracles, but one thing that could change your life!..." So, if you would like to find out more about this thing that could change your life, come along to her talk and demonstration and book to have a one to one session.
Dawn is a registered Osteomyologist and runs her holistic health clinic in nearby Little Stoke, she treats all sorts of different types of pain, from the emotional to physical. She specialises in helping people reinstate their self-esteem and confidence, with a programme she has developed over nearly 20 years of helping people. She also has many runners and athletes who regularly attend her clinic to keep match fit, she has people who sit in an office and know that their lifestyle impinges on their health so regularly keep on top of things by seeing her. So even if this has just peaked your interest just a little, come along to her talk, its free and you have nothing but a little time to lose and everything to gain!
Don’t forget you only need one stamp on the Feel Good February loyalty card to be in with the chance of winning a prize! Simply collect your loyalty card from any UWE Info Point or SU office, get a stamp at each activity you attend and then hand your card back in by 5th March!
