Learn how simple concentration techniques and focusing on the breath can still your mind, helping you to feel calmer and more relaxed and peaceful. You will then be able to practice these techniques at home as they are simple enough to learn in one session. Suitable for beginners or those with previous experience, no special equipment or clothing is needed, you just need to be able to sit comfortably for about an hour. The class is given by the Sri Chinmoy Centre, which has been teaching free meditation classes in Bristol for over 30 years.
Don’t forget you only need one stamp on the Feel Good February loyalty card to be in with the chance of winning a prize! Simply collect your loyalty card from any UWE Info Point or SU office, get a stamp at each activity you attend and then hand your card back in by 5th March!
