Wallscourt Park
Residents of the student residence Wallscourt Park on the Frenchay campus will light up their windows on the evening of Thursday 23rd March between 7-9pm in a celebration of the end of winter, the arrival of spring, and days now longer than nights. We can expect some wonderfully creative displays from the residents. This is the very first time that Window Wanderland has been held in a university and will be open to the public! Students, staff and the public are all welcome to join in this totally free event, see the displays and have fun. The Student’s Union will be open to all for food and drinks during the event. If you are a Wallscourt Park resident, please sign up on the website, your display can be anything from merely opening the curtains for the evening, hanging your favourite clothes, to unlimited creative works. Window Wanderland is all about starting conversations and creating connections. If you’re not feeling inspired, look around this site for ideas; it doesn’t have to be perfect. Window Wanderland @ UWE is organised by a small team of students on the Events Management course with the help of the Students’ Union and UWE. If you want to get in touch with us, please contact us on uwewindowwanderland@gmail.com, or on our Facebook event page.
Make sure you hashtag your halls and #UWEHallsLife, we want to see what you're up to!
