Castle Fruit Farm, Newent
We’ve just discovered 3 tonnes of apples going to waste on a farm in Gloucestershire! These apples are perfectly delicious and nutritious, so we're setting out to save as many as possible – and we NEED YOUR HELP. The more volunteers we have, the more food we can save!
On Friday 17th November, 10.30am-3.30pm we’re inviting volunteers to the farm to help harvest those tasty, and supply excellent charities such as FareSharee with much-needed food. So please join us for a rewarding and sociable day in the field. Feedback will cover travel expenses from Bristol, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and nearby – but please email westengland@feedbackglobal.org?? to confirm. If you do not have a car and need transport to the farm, please email thegreenteam@uwe.ac.uk and we will do our best to arrange this for you.
To join the great apple glean, sign up here:http://ow.ly/uroD30fPfZ3 . You will then be sent more info about the gleaning day, closer to the time.
If you can't join us for this glean, please do sign up to our gleaning list so we can let you know when gleaning days are coming up near you:http://feedbackglobal.org/gleaning-volunteer-form/ For more information, please contact westengland@feedbackglobal.org??
