We've invited Off the Record (a local charity who provide mental health support for young people) to UWE Bristol to run a series of workshops to help you improve your emotional resilience.
This session uses a game of Jenga to show how stress can develop at university and explores some tried and tested techniques for coping with stress such as mindfulness.
This interactive workshop is a great follow-up to our Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) emotional resilience workshops, but you are welcome to join the session without attending a PAL workshop.
Throughout your time at university you'll face many challenges – like meeting new people, delivering presentations, taking exams and juggling your social life.
Looking after your mental wealth and building your emotional resilience is the best way to tackle these challenges so that they don't become overwhelming.
You'll be able to use the skills you learn throughout your time at university and after you graduate – so come along!
