SKILLS FOR WILDLIFE TRAINING: TAKE ON A WILDLIFE MISSION!
Which city on Earth has the most wildlife and the most nature-loving citizens?
In April 2019, Bristol and Bath will unite to compete with 175+ cities on seven continents as we show the world how amazing our region is for people and nature during the 2019 City Nature Challenge. Defending our 2018 title of most observations in Europe, together we will embark on an epic contest: to discover and record as much wildlife as possible over 4 days.
Bristol Natural History Consortium are looking for wildlife enthusiasts with a taste for adventure, to take on special wildlife missions during 26-29 April as they seek to fill the gaps in our knowledge about local wildlife. This FREE training event will give you the ecology skills to record wildlife using a specialist mobile phone app to take on this epic mission!
This event is suitable for beginners!
Please bring walking boots/wellies and a raincoat as this session will partly be delivered outdoors (just in case!).
