Salary: £7.82 per hour.
Hours: 6 hours per week, ideally Monday/Friday.
Job Duration: 34 weeks during term time.

Location: Based at Frenchay Campus. The postholder may be required to work at, or from any of the Union’s establishments.
Purpose of the post:
a) co-ordinating and delivering innovative and exciting social media content (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) and marketing Green Team events
b) researching sustainability related events within Bristol
To assist in additional administrative tasks and activities that support the wider Community Department, including volunteering, fundraising, student-led campaigns and supporting societies.
Duties:
To provide full administrative support to the Green Team Programme.
To support and organise the Green Team’s Greener Futures Programme, which engages societies and sports teams in sustainability.
To administer event and transport bookings for Green Team activities.
To organise the volunteering action day programme. Contacting charities to arrange opportunities, booking transport, completing risk assessments, recruiting students and responding to enquiries.
To undertake the social media promotion of the Green team programme through the three main social media channels: Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This would also include researching relevant and interesting content to interact with followers and to build the followers list.
To promote the activities, events, opportunities and campaigns of the Green Team through all promotional routes.
To research events and activities in the Bristol area relevant for future Green Team Programme development.
To assist the Green Team Co-ordinator in the recording, control & monitoring of all Green Team activities, student engagement and resources/equipment.
To maintain & develop a database of Green Team signups.
To monitor & update the Green Team Students’ Union web pages and Facebook in conjunction with the Green Team co-ordinator.
To run occasional and smaller scale events e.g. craft events.

Supervision and work planning:
The postholder will receive day to day supervision from the Community Manager and The Green Team Co-ordinator, but will be expected to work on his/her initiative for routine tasks.
The post is term time for 34 weeks of the year.
The postholder will commit to their hours and shift pattern, in line with the Staff Handbook, non-attendance will result in contract termination.
