VP Education
The Students’ Union is led by students for students. We offer a wide variety of opportunities from sports and societies, to volunteering and fundraising, to representation and advice. Student representation is a key part of everything that we offer.

Each year in October and March we elect student leaders, like myself, to shape the work that we do. We have our By Elections coming up to fill vacant executive positions, as well as electing students to our Democratic Procedures Committee (DPC), Department Reps, and students to represent UWE Bristol at NUS Conferences.
Standing for election is a great way to get involved with The Students’ Union and meet new people. We’re here to support you though the whole process, from writing you manifesto, to guiding you through how campaign week works – don’t be hesitant to put yourself forward!
Holding these roles will give you opportunities to develop your skills and learning. You will have the ability to lead on projects, work with a range of people, learn how The Students’ Union and UWE Bristol run, and how the student movement fits into a national picture.
As a previous NUS Conference Delegate and current VP Education, I would highly recommend that you consider putting yourself forward for one of these roles. Whether you’re a first year or a returning student, the experience will be priceless.
Nominations open on September 19 at 10:00 and close October 19 at midnight.
