Jamie Jordon, VP Education
VP Educations writes about the ways The Students' Union Represents your academic interests.
Constantly shaping your course based on your feedback
Students Reps are your elected representatives, who have the influence to change what you are learning and how you are learning it. We support and train Student Reps to defend your interests to academics and key decision makers.
Supporting you when you need it most
Our Advice Centre offers free, independent and impartial advice. The range of academic issues that students present to the Advice Centre helps shape our knowledge to lobby the University for positive change.
Championing your voice at the highest levels
The Vice President Education sits on a variety of meetings and committees. From your course to Academic Board, VP Education ensures the student voice is heard, and listened to, throughout the University.
Creating meaningful change because of you
Any student can submit an idea and any student can vote. This means The Students’ Union will work on changes that mean the most to you.
Enhancing your studies, expanding your experiences and increasing your employability
Academic Societies create a strong network between students and academics. They play a key part in hosting extra-curricular events and driving co-creation of the curriculum.
