UWE Athletics have swapped the Gold for the Green. In a bid to cut down on needless wastage, UWE ACCC have teamed up with The Green Team to give each of its 62 members a reusable sports bottle and kit bag. It's important that we recognise the need for reusable materials and the role we all have in reducing our carbon footprint. It's also hoped that this scheme will assist in retention of members following the festive holidays. A small gift to acknowledge the consistently high efforts at training, through the cold winter evenings at the track.
