The Students' Union Advice Centre
Have you started looking for accommodation but you're unsure where to start or what to look out for? We're running accommodation talks at Frenchay, Glenside and Bower Ashton to discuss any concerns or questions you may have!
The Students' Union's Advice Centre is aware that many students have started looking early for accommodation for their second or third years. We are also aware that a few estate agents in Bristol have released their accommodation list for next year already.
As hard as it might seem, the Advice Centre is advising you to wait until you feel ready to rent. Take the time to really check out the local housing options. Properties to let become available throughout the year, and many landlords advertise in the summer months leading up to term. Take the time to decide on who you would like to live with next year. Take the time to read the contract, compare the prices and make your decision.
To ensure that students make an informed decision about renting, the Advice Centre will be holding talks and drop in sessions at each campus over the next few weeks to discuss any accommodation issues/concerns that you may have.
Come along and meet our experienced advisers to talk about all things accommodation and make sure you are ready to rent. Let The Students’ Union Advice Centre help you.
