The vote to leave the EU is the beginning of a two-year negotiation process that will affect some arrangements between the UK and various European countries. The Students’ Union will always be committed to welcoming students from across the world, whether from Europe or beyond. We will continue to promote an inclusive, internationalised and integrated community at UWE, across all campus sites.
In weeks ahead we must continue to champion an outward looking, internationalist and tolerant nation. These values matter now more than ever, especially in the rise of hate crime since the Referendum results were released. We will work closely with UWE to make sure that the University continues to provide an outstanding experience for all our students.
