This year’s Model United Nations aimed to relieve the tensions between the United States Of America and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. This is the report for the conference with its passed and failed motions and its final resolution.

1st motion put forward:
The UN believes that the International Community shall remove any nuclear weapons to ease the tensions between the DPRK and the USA. Original motion suggests that over the next 13 years the nuclear powers will erase their nuclear artillery slowly and surely and aim to be nuclear free by 2030.
1st Amendment: proposed you the State of Israel
States of DPRK and Republic of Iran receive sanctions on every disclosed and undisclosed enriched Uranium given to the said countries. UN force to be deployed in Iran and North Korea to investigate and enforce the ban. Amendment Rejected. For: 4, Against: 3, Abstained: 2.
2nd Amendment: proposed by the People’s Republic of China
Need State of Israel to state its nuclear artillery before enforcing the nuclear proliferation. Amendment passed. For: 5, Against: 4, Abstentions: 0.
3rd Amendment: Proposed by the Russian Federation
Proposal for 30 years to be the deadline for nuclear proliferation. Amendment Rejected: For: 1, Against: 5, Abstained: 0.

Peace treaty between Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Republic of Korea requires the removal of every weapon of mass destruction on the Korean Peninsula from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the United States of America. This also states that as long as the peace treaty is upheld by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, then the UN sanction on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and its imports of luxury goods will be ceased. Motion passed. For: 5, Against: 2, Abstained: 2.
