On Friday 22 September, the Students' Union Presidents ran the Glenside Colour Run in aid of PAPYRUS Charity.
On Friday 22 September, The Students’ Union Presidents ran the Glenside Colour Run for PAPYRUS, the Prevention of Young Suicide Charity. Together we managed to raise over £900 for this important cause. Suicide is the leading cause of death in young people under 35, yet mental health charities are often underfunded, and fundraised for less than other charities. By taking part in the Colour Run the Presidents helped raise the issue of young suicide, and started off this year’s RAG total with a bang!
Get involved with UWE’s Raising and Giving (RAG) Team and see what other fundraising events are coming up. The Presidents are still taking donations for their Colour Run, if you wish to sponsor them, please visit our MyDonate page here.
