Public Health England are urging university students to ensure they have had two doses of the MMR vaccine following a rise in measles amongst 18 - 25 year-olds over the past few months.
Measles is a highly infectious viral illness which can spread quickly amongst students, so don't let it affect your summer! From living in close proximity at university, to attending festivals with large numbers of students and travelling over the summer, students can be very susceptible to the disease.
It’s never too late to have the vaccine, so if you’re unsure whether you’ve had it or not, just register with UWE Health Centre or book an appointment with your GP.
