Korfball

Korfball

Korfball is an exciting sport new to UWE, a mixture of netball and basketball, with two teams of 8 players and a 50:50 male:female split on each team. The objective is to throw a ball through a bottomless basket that is mounted on a 3.5 m (11.5 feet) high pole.

We've teamed up with local legends from Horfield Korfball Club to bring you this exciting new sport. Don't worry if you've never heard of it before - neither had we!  Most players learn as adults, and new players are welcome every week.  We can promise after one session you'll be craving more, so come along and see what we're all about!

These sessions are fun, friendly and open to all (male and female) to come and try a new activity, learn some skills and have a game of korfball.

Drop-in sessions:

DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST, THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO KORFBALL SESSIONS RUNNING. PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE KORFBALL START UP AGAIN.
