Interfaith Week

Here at The Students’ Union at UWE, we are celebrating InterFaith week, 22-28 November 20-21. We wish to bring students from religious groups and non-religious groups together to eliminate any stigma and increase awareness and understanding within our student communities.

THE AIMS OF THE WEEK ARE TO:

  • Strengthen good inter faith relations at all levels
  • Increase awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK, in particular celebrating and building on the contribution which their members make to their neighbourhoods and to wider society
  • Increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs

Interfaith Cafe
Meeting Room 1, Students' Union Reception, Frenchay Campus
Come along to share food and learn about other faiths. This is a space to talk freely to others about your own faith or lack of faith. Uniting people in dialogue breaks down barriers and lessens harmful stereotypes about other people.
