The Society of Cardiac and Respiratory Physiologists is a new student run society founded on the 23/02/2016. Our vision for the future is to create a society that will act as a platform for social and academic cooperation between the different years on the Physiological Science course. As well as assisting those already studying physiology, we would like to foster an interest in physiology in students studying other subjects. To achieve this goal we plan to run workshops for students to teach practical medical skills (such as taking manual blood pressure) that would allow students to gain hands on practical experience in an activity not covered by their course.

If you have any questions or queries feel free to contact us through our Facebook page or our Gmail!

Our Goals:

  • Provide a social platform for physiologists of all years
  • Increase interest in physiology as a subject by holding workshops for non-physiologists.
  • Support physiology students going out on placement
  • Host guest speakers to talk on topics relevent to physiology
