LOGO:

Our logo recalls the Sri Lankan flag.

  • The Lion symbolizes the bravery of the Sinhalese.
  • The four bo leaves in the corners represent the four concepts of Buddhism (Karuna, Mudita, Upeksha, and Metta).
  • The two stripes represent the Sri Lankan Tamils and Muslims respectively.
  • The border of the flag represents the unity of the nation.

OUR VERY FIRST MEET AND GREET ORGANISED ON THE 15TH OF NOVEMBER 2019!

A humble thank you to every single person who tremendously contributed to make this day a reality. A huge shout out to our dearest colleagues of Sri Lankan Society of the University of Bristol!
