KCSOC is a spiritual community of open-minded and deep thinking young people.
For us, spirituality is about sharing. We all have our own ideas, philosophies and questions, and KCSOC acts as the perfect host for deep discussions and thoughtful questions.
Unfortunately because of covid, for the first half of the year we won’t be able to meet up in gatherings, But that won’t stop us! all events will be online via Microsoft teams till further notice. This will be held every Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm. With KCSOC we bring the wisdom and teaching of the ancient spiritual text Baghdad Gita into modern day life, and relating it to the day-to-day problems human beings face. The magical part is when we share and connect, often through games and fun challenges, and see our trickiest questions answered through ancient-spiritual texts.
we all have deep suffering with life, and sometimes we don’t know how to deal with it. The purpose of the spiritual text is to over time liberate yourself from the psychological bondages you have unconsciously created for your self so that you can come to feel more gratitude. To feel more free and limitless. To grow and nurture the love within. If you think this is for you, sign up, it will be great to have you as part of our soceity:)
Every event is free and themes to expect are: What Would You Do If You Had 24 Hours To Live?; why we fear negative judgement from others and how to overcome it; Who Am I Under The Skin; Have You Ever Googled Happiness?; and KARMA: Action meets Reaction.
All events are free and purely student run, so please sign up for membership and join our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/bristolkcsoc/
