Hypnobirthing weekend (SOLD OUT) - 1F11 Saturday 9th February, Sunday 10th February. 08:30-18:30 both days. Remember to complete the online course before attending the weekend :)
Downs Syndrome Awareness (Tell it right start it right) (40 spaces) - 20/03/2019, £10 per ticket, society members only. 0900am-1530pm - Room to be confirmed. 25% of all ticket sales will be going towards down syndrome awareness
Midwifery Taster day (30 spaces) - 10/04/2019, £3 per ticket, for members and non-members. Room 1B22, 1400-1700PM Take advantage of meeting some of our current midwifery students and learning more about the course, aimed at offer holders, aspiring student midwives, and people with a general interest in the course.
Infant Loss study day with Chantal Lockey (40 places - 30x members, 10xnon-members) - 15/05/2019. Room - 1H12, Time: 1000-1600PM. 50% of ticket sales for this day will be donated to The Infant Loss foundation charity
Bereavement Photography with Chantal Lockey (18 places) - 22/05/2019. £10 per ticket, society members only. Room: 1K06,  1230-1630pm. If you purchase a ticket for this event, please ensure you bring along a teddy/dolly and a camera/mobile camera.
At all our events, we hold raffles and cake sales for this year's chosen charity:

Student Midwives, qualified Midwives and prospective students are all welcome to join the society to take advantage of the events we organise. Bringing people together in this way creates a great community of support for our members and keeps ideas fresh for those in practice.

We are always open to new ideas from our members so please contact us with your suggestions.

The committee meet regularly through the year to put things in place for some great events. There is an official Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March each year where new comittee officers are elected, however if you would like to join the committee as a general member please get in touch at any point throughout the year - we would welcome any extra contribution!

We as a society have so many plans for this years calender, so keep your eyes peeled to see when tickets go live!
