UWE Robotics Society.

Welcome to the UWE Robotics Society.

As a society we aim to bring together people interested in robotics and have fun while building robots and attending robotics events.  We encourage people to join from all backgrounds whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced roboteer.

What you can expect:

The annual fee for joining is £15 and this money will go towards the robot parts that we will be supplying for our activities as well as subsidising for any robotics events and/or competitions that we attend as a society.

We will be participating in the antweight robot wars event held at the University of Bristol where we will be entering several teams this year, so come along with your ideas and building skills and help us show them which University is the best!

As well as this we will be hosting our UWE beetleweight robot wars event, these will be bigger robots than the ant but with more of the fun, by joining in with this event you will be able to match up in robot combat with people from the other universities and also participents from the show robot wars.

For those who aren not intrested in robot wars then we have many different and fun projects that you can get on with such as line folowing robot and obstical avoidance robot.
