TO THE MENTAL HEALTH NURSING SOCIETY

As a new society formed in September 2016 we are dedicated to expanding awareness of - and participation in – matters relating to mental health, wellbeing, and Mental Health Nursing as a discipline. We aim to enhance the learning of our members in an enjoyable, accessible way, by arranging guest speakers, holding academic workshops, and chairing debates on issues related to our field. We hope to support our members to take pride in their profession, to stay up to date with cutting-edge research, and to develop strong social support links throughout their program of study.

We'd love to create more of a 'community feel' in the cohort so sign up and get involved!

On Thursday 10th we are holding a Tea and Talk event at the SU on UWE's Glenside campus. We will be raising money for the Mental Health Foundation, with the help of the Students Union. There will be a chance to sit and have a chat to us with a cup of tea and cake and to take part in some games if you wish.
