Athletics & Cross Country


The club caters for beginner, casual and elite athletes boasting coaching for runners, both endurance and sprints with potential for jumps and throwers. The club prides itself on equality and diversity, encouraging athletes from all walks of life and previous experiences to compete, socialise, and train.

The club is attached to UWE strength and conditioning gym who supply weekly group sessions individualised to your event, with the potential to organise individual sessions on additional days.



Tuesday: Track - endurance and sprint 18:30-20:30

Thursday: Track - endurance and sprint 18:30-20:30

(performance gym for comptetitive athletes to be added when the day/time is confirmed with CFS)


Club packages:

Competitive membership- £80 This includes BUCS competitions, full use of the UWE strength and conditioning gym, track use, coaching for the year and transport to all competitions.

Non-competitive membership- £40 This includes track use and coaching for the year. There is always the option to top up your membership, so don't worry. If you feel you'd like to compete, just ask a committee member and we'll guide you in the right direction.

*An additional £20 is required for the UWE SU in order to insure all athletes on the track, this is mandatory for all members of all sports*
