Join UWE's Most Successful Sports Club! Voted UWE'S Best Sports Club 2014 and 2017! Current UWE BUCS points record holders, accumulating 213 points in the 2017/18 season.

UWE Squash is a mixed club and a great way to improve your fitness (Forbes voted squash the world's healthiest sport in 2003), have fun and meet friendly people in University. We welcome all abilities and whether you want to play socially or competitively, UWE Squash is the club to join!

Looking to play socially on a regular basis? Then we welcome you to join us in our weekly sessions where you'll have the chance to play friendly squash games with other social players and team members.

For those of you who are looking to play competitively we feature five BUCS teams; 4 men's teams and 1 women's team. Teams will typically play on each Wednesday afternoon throughout the academic year competing in a BUCS league and then a knockout tournament. So if you are looking to learn a new sport and get stuck into playing competitively for a university team this is a great opportunity!

There are also monthly box leagues, open to all, with the Hewlett-Packard Company who are based next to the UWE Frenchay Campus. This will give all of those who are willing a chance to play competitive matches in a friendly environment and is a great way to improve your game.

We will have a stall and activity at Freshers Fair (21st September 2018) and are planning a Welcome Competition Event (26th September 2018). All are welcome so come and join us!

2018/19 Training Timetable:

We have access to 4 squash courts; 2 at UWE Centre for Sport and 2 at Wallscourt Farm Gym.

All of our teams are coached by Elite Squash ( ), an independent organisation that train up and coming juniors as well as international squash players including Mohamed El Shorbagy and Lucas Serme. The team coaches are: Hadrian Stiff, Richard King and John Welton.
