The Students' Union's Constitution provides the framework and guidelines for decision and policy making, student elections and much more.

The Constitution is in three parts - the Articles of Association, the Bye Laws and the policy book.

The lastest versions of the Articles and Bye Laws were signed off by the Trustees October 2019, Student Council April 2020, Referendum March 2021 and enacted July 2021.

1) THE ARticles of association

This primarily sets out the rules related to the Board of Trustees, the financial probity and overall governance of The Students' Union and is adapted from a model text produced by the Charity Commission. The Articles of Association were last updated July 2021.
