The Students' Union's Constitution provides the framework and guidelines for decision and policy making, student elections and much more.

The Constitution is in three parts - the Articles of Association, the Bye Laws and the policy book.

1) THE ARticles of association

This primarily sets out the rules related to the Board of Trustees, the financial probity and overall governance of The Students' Union and is adapted from a model text produced by the Charity Commission. The Articles of Association were last updated April 2017.

These set out the specific structures, rules and processes of The Students' Union at UWE that govern our day-to-day operations. The Bye Laws were last updated November 2017 (currently awaiting update following Dec 2018 Board of Trustees)
