We would like to thank you all for your patience over the past few days. We, the Presidents Team, have been busy speaking to students, gathering information from those leading petitions understanding the concerns and issues students are facing in this challenging time.

The Benefits of Taking a Break From Alcohol

This last year has been a challenging one, to say the least. Many of us have felt stressed and anxious which may have affected our drinking habits. Dry January is the UK’s one-month alcohol-free challenge brought to you by Alcohol Change UK, a charity who are driven by a vision of a world with no serious alcohol harm. Their goal is to change the way people view drinking, making it a conscious choice rather than a default.

Trying Veganism this Veganuary

Going vegan is the fastest growing food trend. According to The Vegan Society, there are now over 600,000 vegans in the UK, which has quadrupled since 2014. This could be down to the many great benefits going vegan has such as avoiding animal exploitation, improving health and benefiting the environmnet.
