Tom Haines, 3rd-year UWE student and Greenspace Project Leader:
"There are several reasons to become involved as a Project Leader – everything from learning new skills, to becoming more employable for future jobs and to gain experience and everything in-between. You’ll be able to work both individually and as a team to help set up and run events in a safe setting, whilst also learning more about the natural environment.
Best of all, you’ll be able to meet new people from all kinds of courses, whilst also helping them to learn and develop their own skills – as well as your own! You may sit on a board, or do something completely new – and that’s okay! No prior experience is needed, and most importantly, the Union are there to help and support you throughout the entire process. "
