Information for anyone who will be driving club or society members to matches or events.
If you’re planning to transport club or society members to an official activity, you’ll need to register as a driver with The Student’s Union.
If you wish to drive a vehicle hired or insured by The Students' Union at UWE, you must complete the online Driver Registration Form at least 3 working days before your travel date. This form ensures that your trip is properly authorised and covered by third-party liability insurance.
If you wish to drive your own vehicle, you'll need to register your vehicle with The Students’ Union at UWE, at least 3 working days before your travel date and before you can reclaim fuel costs.

Then fill out the Online Driver Registration form, found here.
The form will be automatically sent to The Students' Union Reception upon completion. Following that, email the required documentation, including the front and back of your driving licence and proof of insurance (if applicable), to: thestudentsunion@uwe.ac.uk.
It's important to note that completing this form does not guarantee eligibility to drive a vehicle hired by The Students' Union and no form will be accepted without a DVLA Check code.
