UWE Cricket Club offers BUCS cricket for men and women, social teams, quality coaching, and a buzzing social calendar. All abilities welcome—get involved on and off the pitch!
UWE Cricket Club is a mixed-gender society that welcomes players of all abilities, offering both competitive and social opportunities across the academic year.
We currently run three outdoor men's teams:
Two teams compete in BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport)
One friendly XI for more social or developmental cricket
We also have a men’s indoor VI team, which competes in BUCS during the winter season.
Our women’s indoor VI team competes in BUCS throughout the indoor season.
During the summer, we join forces with the University of Bristol Women’s Cricket Club, fielding two outdoor women’s teams that also compete in BUCS.
We train weekly with Coach Kevin, who brings another level of professionalism to our club.
We also hold an Intra-club Indoor Cricket Competition throughout the year as a way to engage members through the cold winter.
Our training times are:
Tuesday - 18:30-20:30 Men's
Wednesday - 9:00-11:00 Indoor Club League
Friday - 14:00-16:00 Mixed
Sunday - 11:30-13:30 Women's
