Ranked in the BUCS top 20 Women's Football Teams 2025/26!
UWE Women's Football have just finished their most successful season to date, winning the Conference Cup, League title, league promotion and the biggest game of the year - VARSITY!
Lead by Head Coach Andy Clapp, the UWE WFC First Team has secured promotion into Western League 1 and the National Trophy for the 2026/27 season. They finished their spectacular unbeaten season with a 16-0 league win, and were victorious in the Western Conference Cup, as well as beating a Southern Premier League side 10-0 in Varsity. Meanwhile the Second Team is competing in Western League 3, and are developing the next generation of talent whilst pushing for a divisional title of their own.

UWEWFC proudly operates a two-team system designed to bridge the gap between passion and performance. We welcome everyone, from those who have never laced up boots to seasoned players. Our second team is the perfect starting ground, and many of our First Team players started there, developing their skills through dedicated coaching and supportive team environment.
Our many accomplishments speak for themselves. In the past few years, we've earned both League Champions and Cup Champions; received nominations for a number of awards at the end of year UWESU Sports Awards and won including; Sports Club of the Year, Team of the Year, Captain of the Year, Sports Personality, Newcomer of the Year... the list goes on! The unique bond you will form over the years as a team is unmatched, each experience and achievement can be shared with all of your best friends, making memories for life. There will never be a dull moment, providing the opportunity to grow not only as a club but also as an individual! One of the best decisions we made as students was to join the UWE Women's Football Team. Fun, fitness, and lifelong friendships, you will certainly not regret it. For new members the fee will include BUCS membership and full kit. You must purchase the UWE SPORTS PASS (insurance in case of injury) as well as the club membership. Details of memberships will be given to all those successful after trials.

All training sessions take place at UWE Hillside Gardens (BS16 1QQ), just a short walk away from UWE Frenchay Campus.
All home games are played at Lockleaze Sports Centre, Bonnington Walk, Bristol, BS7 9XF.
