We currently offer three swimming sessions a week, coached by Bristol & South Gloucestershire Swimming Club. At UWE Swim, we cater to everyone; however, we do require a certain level of swimming competency – as long as you can pass the water proficiency test set out by the SU!
We welcome those who wish to swim for fun as well as those who wish to swim competitively.
For competitive swimmers, we will be taking part in every BUCS and BUSL swimming event that we can. For additional training, please get in touch, as this is available through our partnership with Bristol & South Gloucestershire Swimming Club.
Come along and meet the team at one of our free taster sessions that will be announced soon on our social media!

UWESWPC is all about having fun at socials! They’re a chance for everyone to get together as a team, get to know each other better, and strengthen the bonds within our club. They’re also a great opportunity to meet new people outside of the club.
Socials take place every Wednesday night, organised by our Social Sec, with details posted in our club group chats and occasionally on social media. We attend the weekly Sports Night at Pam Pam’s Bristol, organised by Sharkies – but not before meeting all together first for pres! Tickets can be purchased through the Fixr app.
Throughout the year, we’ll also host a variety of other socials, including charity events, dinners, and awards evenings!
