Hello, everyone! 

I'm Khadiza Hossain, Master's student in International Trade and Economic Law. Currently donning the hat of a student rep for the LLM course, I've decided to add a splash of excitement by running for VP Education for SU! Beyond the law books, I'm a professional photographer capturing life's vibrant moments, a skilled cinematographer crafting visual tales, a certified Mediator promoting peace, and, just for kicks, a precision shooter with a rifle in hand. Let's turn the page to a new chapter together – because education should be as thrilling as my shots!

My aims (to be lobbied)

Efficient Timetabling for exams

• To make sure students do not get major assignments or exams within short timeframes.

Exam Feedback and Recheck system

• Recognizing the need for improved feedback, ensuring detailed and constructive feedback for every exams and courseworks.
• To have a recheck system for the students who are not satisfied with their marks and want to recheck before resitting.

Strengthening Career Development

•  To organise regular career seminars relevant to your field for all students (undergrad, postgrad and others). So that every individual will have the idea of what they will be doing after graduation. It will help them understand if they're on the right track or not. 
• To invite alumni from their respective fields to come and share their experiences with the current students.

Assistance and accessibility

• To form a team who would provide constant assistance to the students (International and local) getting familiarise with the study method in UWE Bristol. 
• Forming a team who would boost resilience, ease exam stress for struggling students. 
• I will make sure that the students get enough support or relevant information needed before their arrival to university and thorughout their registartion period.

Enhanced Learning Resources for postgrads

• To make sure every postgrad students have access to recorded lectures to understand their module better. 
• To increse the resit limits or decrese the retake module fee. 

Comprehensive training for student reps

• To implement regular training for student reps which would cover effective communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills. So that they are equipped to handle diverse situations and represent student interests effectively. 

No Idea Left Behind

• As VP Education, I propose a collaborative effort with all election candidates to implement a variety of ideas, preventing valuable proposals from going to waste. I aim to turn ideas into actionable plans.
