Your Voice. Your University.

During my time in university, I have found that having multiple perspectives on a problem can lead to a more informed, and more often, better solution. From this, I will take the time to not only listen to the needs of others, but to understand them. For how can a fair resolution be made when the people are not heard?

Having listened to lecturers, it is clear that there will always be more to learn. But like any student, it is the willingness and dedication to learn from others that will define success. Because of this, I will strive to learn about what affects our community and how I can best provide support. For how can a problem be solved if it is not known?

Finally, while listening and learning is important in finding a solution, nothing will change unless that solution is set in motion. As such, once I have listened to the desires of our community and learned the ways in which to support y'all, I will act in all viable ways to ensure that a solution is found and acted upon. For what is the purpose of a resolution?

Goals:
To keep track of university and government policies that may impact the community.
To be available to the community, so that I may understand what you need.
To determine viable ways for the university to support the community.
