Hello

I've been apart of UWE LGBT+ since 2013 and have seen it grow from OUTUWE to the society that it is today. I am aware of how important it is to communicate the society's message to the community, especially after holding the same position in 2015 - 2016.

I can bring to the table 3 years social media management experience, including my experience as a former media and communications officer. Roles have further included Media & Publicity Officer for the SU and Social Media Director for the Lawyers Division. 

I will be utilising the society's social media platforms to:

1. Communicate news, updates and event launches.
2. Administrate the creation and publication of relevant, original and high quality content. 
3. Produce a positive and inclusive online presence.
4. Utilisation of that presence to help promote and achieve the society's goal of raising £5,000 for charity. 
5. Assess the effectiveness of content and offering recommendations for improvements wherever necessary.

My most prominent success within social media communications is contributing to the Plymouth Junior Lawyers Division's goal of raising £5,000 for Veterans With Dogs. My media campaigns and networking surpassed that goal of £5,000 and I would love to contribute further to UWE LGBT+'s similar ambitions.
