Meeting Room 1, Students' Union Reception, Frenchay Campus
Play Action International will be joining us on campus Wednesday 10 November and Thursday 11 November to talk to students about their fantastic fundraising opportunity.
By volunteering with Play Action International on the Uganda Volunteer Project you will experience two or four incredible weeks in the Pearl of Africa, Uganda. You will be living and volunteering within a local community to help transform an empty field into a fun, safe and exciting new playground for a community school. You will also assist on their creative play programme to inspire children at a school to learn, explore and develop themselves through power of play! The highlight of this experience is ‘Opening Day’ – where you’ll get to see the smiles, hear the laughter and feel the joy that a playground will bring thousands of children and help them fulfill their potential!
At the weekends you will have a chance to explore the best of Uganda by white water rafting, safaris, horse riding or quad biking along the Nile. Uganda has it all.
