MindHarp is an innovative and unique mental health and wellbeing practice that is rooted in music and musical sound. Inspired by its founders’ experience of using live music playing in building cohesion between fractured communitie, they created a whole new practice that enables ANYONE to actively play and engage with music. Now backed by extensive scientific analysis, it heralds a new era where music is recognised as health and healing tool. It’s accessible anywhere via the web.
.30-11.50 : GUIDED MUSITATIONS (Where participants are taken on a guided musical journey - a music-based meditation - and have the opportunity to musicaly participate)
30-13:00 : FACILITATED GROOVITATIONS (Where anyone can join in and work either individually or collectively actively engaging with music - creating flows of ambient sounds or finding the pulse and getting into a state of flow through rhythmic pulse)
.30-14.00 : GROOVITATIONS PLAY WITH MINDHARP FOUNDERS. Join the founders of MindHarp for a Q+A and if you wish, bring an instrument (..voice, guitar, recorder!…whatever). Let’s see if we can bring together people with and without musical backgrounds and experience MindHarp musical play!
.15-14.45 : FACILITATED MOVITATIONS (Led by Yoga professional and Motivation Maestro, Selina Ratcliffe. Movitations combine gentle movement, breathing and Musial sound. They are very meditative and simultaneously energising)
