WHAT TO EXPECT:
Climate Chats and Cake is a monthly session for UWE students to come together, meet like-minded students and hear inspiring stories.
Sessions will involve guided discussion, opportunities to share thoughts and feelings and hear from experts and guests.
This month's guest will be Anette Mansikka-aho, who is a PhD researcher from Finland. Her research field is environmental education. Anette will show Panu Pihkala's Process Model of Eco-Anxiety and Ecological Grief, and tell her own story through it. It is about her journey from feeling strong climate anxiety to finding her place in the world. This talk will be empowering and motivating!
There will also be free vegan food and refreshments.
