WHAT TO EXPECT:

The event aims to:

• Promote cultural awareness and understanding among students.
• Provide valuable workshops that bring awareness to diverse abilities and behaviour toward marginalized groups.
• Engage students in interactive activities celebrating diverse cultures.
• Foster a sense of unity and inclusivity within our diverse student body.

Workshops

There will be a range of workshops throughout the day, they are as follows;

• Deaf Awareness Workshop – Led by the Centre for Deaf 11:00-12:00
• Autism Awareness Workshop – Led by UWE's Access and Learning Strategies Team (ALS) 12:30-13:30
• Microaggressions Workshop – Led by the African Caribbean Education Network 14:00-15:00

Stalls

We will host a range of stalls in The SU at Frenchay including our societies, UWE services and external charities.

The stalls will be open from 10:30-11:00 for a quiet half hour for those who need it, and 11:00-15:00 for everyone else.
