WHAT TO EXPECT:

Come and join a walk around the beautiful Ashton Court and a picnic - picnic will be supplied or bring your own if you would rather.

Alternative rain plan will be put in place!

Make sure you wear practical clothes and footwear (wellies/walking boots or sturdy trainers), and check the weather beforehand so you can dress accordingly and be as comfortable as possible.

This event will start in the SU cafe area which is accesiable by a ramp and automatic door, this is a smooth laminated floor surface. From there we will head up to Ashton Court this will involve going up and down sloped terrain, which will be a mixture of road, paving and grass - some of the route will be quite rugged and uneven. We can adapt the route to stick to less rough surfaces on request. You can interact as little or as much with others as you are comfortable with. Come alone or with friends.

Walk: Bower Ashton campus is a 30 min walk from the city centre. You can use the address City campus at Bower Ashton, Kennel Lodge Road, Bristol, BS3 2 JT in google maps to plan your route.

Or the M2 which has stops opposite Temple Meads, MarketGate/Phoenix Court accommodation and the centre. 15 min walk to campus from Ashton Gate stop.

Drive: Parking is very limited and for permit holders only. Please ensure you have either an annual permit OR a pay daily permit on display in your windscreen, and only park within marked bays.
