Community Corner, Bower Ashton
In the run up to Pride Month Adelaide the LGBTQ+ Officer would like to welcome you to her Pre Pride Prep Party! This will be her last event as the Officer so come and say ta-raaaa!
Do you feel apprehensive going to a salon/barbers?
Do you feel uncomfortable going somewhere that only cuts ‘womans’ hair or ‘gents’ hair?
Have you asked for a certain cut - but had it cut to what they think your genders hair 'should' be rather than what you asked for?
Well come to our inclusive pop up where you can get a free hair cut (If you can - donate to a LGBTQ+ Charity in exchange for the cut)
We have asked Jess, the CEO and Founder of dooo – A Bristol Genderfree, all inclusive salon, to come in to cut your hair!
Have you wanted to experiment with make up? Come and see Jax Glam who will do your make up and give you hints and tips of how to do it yourself.
We'll also have a Pride Clothes swaps and crafts to take part in.
So come along to Community Corner and around the shared space at Bower to take part, this is walk in on the day appointments, so come early to avoid disappointment (limited spaces)!
