Meet at the SU Cafe area
A picnic for Women, Trans women and Non Binary students, with Sister Courage, who facilitates supportive self defence classes.
Meet the Womens Welfare Officer.
We will start with a picnic - supplied, in Ashton Court (or inside if the weather isn’t suitable.)
We will talk together - women supporting women,
Sister Courage offers a toolbox of verbal & physical options for dealing with Sexism, Misogyny & Entitlement,
We are a supportive group offering some solidarity.
Following the picnic you have the option to go to a practice of the more practical self defence skills this part will be held in Room 1B001. Wear comfortable clothing.

Walk: Bower Ashton campus is a 30 min walk from the city centre. You can use the address City campus at Bower Ashton, Kennel Lodge Road, Bristol, BS3 2 JT in google maps to plan your route.

Or the M2 which has stops opposite Temple Meads, MarketGate/Phoenix Court accommodation and the centre. 15 min walk to campus from Cumberland Basin stop.
Drive: Parking is very limited and for permit holders only. Please ensure you have either an annual permit OR a pay daily permit on display in your windscreen, and only park within marked bays.
