Drop-in session to complete the university’s new Equality Impact Assessment- a change that will impact students and staff at UWE
Background
UWE has updated its Trans and Non-Binary policy this week, in order to comply with the Supreme Court ruling. An equality impact assessment (EIA) is now underway until 18th October in order to assess how this impacts the community at UWE.
Equality Impact Assessment
The LGBTQIA+ Network will be running three Equality Impact Assessment workshop sessions next week. These sessions are open to everyone. Whilst this change impacts trans people most of all, there are numerous other people on campus who may wish to respond to this policy change. For example;
The sessions will be run at the following times;
You do not need to be a member of our network to join us. If you have questions about the changes or want to speak to someone about how these changes have impacted you, we are here to help.
